Have you given a Referral lately?

Referrals are the lifeline of any business. According to a New York Times report, 65% of business comes from referrals. To continue getting referrals you must give referrals. There is a saying “when you give, you’ll get back tenfold.”

Always be on the lookout for opportunities to provide referrals to your sphere of influence:

  • Customers
  • Prospects
  • Power Referral Sources
  • Members of your networking group
  • Chamber members
  • Vendors
  • Business Associates

I have heard business owners say, I have given a referral to ABC Company, but they never give back.   When you look at referrals in this manner, you are defeating the purpose of the true ‘go-give’ spirit.

Continue to give without keeping track. Why? The universe takes care of those that continually give. Remember how you felt when you got a referral?  Spread the good vibes.
