City of Fort Myers Mayor Randall P. Henderson Jr. will present updates on major development projects and review incentive programs and opportunities for continued development at the Jan. 8 luncheon meeting of the Real Estate Investment Society (REIS).
The program will include information on the ways that public-private partnerships, infrastructure improvements, and zoning and tax incentives are stimulating mixed-use infill development in the urban area. The mayor will also explain how the Fort Myers/Lee County Enterprise Zone, in conjunction with the Redevelopment Districts and a vision for Midtown Redevelopment, pave the way for new projects surrounding the historic River District.
The meeting is sponsored by Sallee Promotions and will begin promptly at 11:30 a.m. in the Osprey Room at Pelican Preserve’s Clubhouse, on Treeline Avenue at Colonial Boulevard. Admission is $30 for members and $40 for guests, which includes lunch.
Reservations are required by Jan. 3 and may be made at the REIS web site: www.reis-swfl.org.
