Individuals who are thinking about starting their own business are invited to apply to the Goodwill Southwest Florida MicroEnterprise Institute. Classes begin on July 15 in Cape Coral.
The MicroEnterprise Institute is a six-week training program to help emerging entrepreneurs start new ventures and grow small businesses. Graduates complete a comprehensive training course and prepare a solid feasibility plan, working with mentors who are successful businesspeople.
Classes meet from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday and Thursday evenings at the Public Works Building, located at 815 Nicholas Parkway East in Cape Coral. Upon completion, participants present their plans at a graduation Aug. 22.
