Dr. Carmen Wilson has joined Eye Centers of Florida.

Wilson will practice full time at the Eye Centers of Florida Immokalee office located at 1320 N. 15th St., Immokalee. Wilson and many of the staff members in the Immokalee office speak both Spanish and English.

Wilson attended Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta. She completed an internship at New York Downtown Hospital and a residency at New York Medical College, where she served as chief resident at Westchester County Medical Center. Wilson returned to Atlanta, where she joined Morehouse Medical Associates at Morehouse School of Medicine and simultaneously earned her Master of Science degree in clinical research.

She has published numerous publications and presented at local and international meetings. Wilson has participated in numerous medical mission trips in underserved communities in Brazil, Haiti, Turks and Caicos, and Jamaica. Wilson most recently worked in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
