Florida Companies to Watch celebrates growing second-stage companies headquartered in Florida.

Companies to Watch was developed by the Edward Lowe Foundation as a unique way to recognize and honor second-stage companies that demonstrate high performance in the marketplace with innovative strategies and processes, making them “worth watching.” Presented by GrowFL, in association with Edward Lowe Foundation, Florida Companies to Watch is an awards program like no other. We all have a compelling story to tell.

The Florida Companies To Watch program consists of two rounds of selections. Finalists now advance to the second round, where they will be further evaluated based on their performance in the marketplace, innovative products, services or processes, philanthropy, and empowered employees.

“We applaud these first-round finalists who have shown how they stand out in their regions as innovative business leaders, going to the next level to grow their companies. They are true rock stars,” says Dr. Tom O’Neal, GrowFL Executive Director.

Companies from across the state and all industries may participate. Selection is based on steady growth in employee counts and revenue as well as strength in leadership, corporate culture, community support and philanthropy, innovation in management or technology, or other factors that contribute to an outstanding organization.

Local advertising and brand architecture firm Spiro & Associates was among the first round of the 2019 Florida Companies to Watch finalists recently announced.

“We are honored to be a finalist and advancing to the second round,” said Christopher T. Spiro, Founder and CEO. “For over 30 years, Spiro & Associates has been delivering quality services and an outstanding creative product to businesses throughout Southwest Florida and beyond. We continue to evolve our capabilities and refine our processes to bring continued value and success to our clients. It’s very rewarding to be recognized for our innovative approach to growth and development.”

The Honorees for this year’s award will be announced in July. The 9th Annual Florida Companies to Watch awards celebration will take place on November 14, 2019, at Hard Rock Live, Universal City Walk, Orlando, FL. Tickets go on sale June 19, 2019.
