Florida Skin Center has been named a ‘Best Company To Work For In Florida’ for the third consecutive year. Due to its exceptional growth, the dermatology practice moved up to the ‘best midsized companies’ category — which includes statewide organizations with 50 to 249 employees.

Florida Trend magazine listed Florida Skin Center as number 12 out of 31, placing it on the same list as MassMutual Southeast Coast, First Florida Credit Union, Premier Eye Care and Clickbooth, just to name a few.

Florida Skin Center was evaluated on its workplace policies, practices, systems and demographics across all four office locations. Dermatologists, physician assistants, medical assistants and others also completed an Employee Engagement & Satisfaction Survey. The evaluation and survey scores resulted in the respective category and ranking, as well as the biggest reason that Florida Skin Center employees value their workplace — “incredible benefits and pay.”

In 2017, Florida Skin Center was listed as number 36 out of 37 firms in the ‘best small companies’ category, and in 2018, it was ranked number four out of 40 firms on the same list.

Now, with more than 50 employees, compared to 40 last year, coupled with continued efforts to redefine the dermatology industry, Florida Skin Center is celebrating a new kind of success without losing its original sentiment.

“Florida Skin Center started as a big fish in a small pond. Today, we’re proving that we can make it with the big-time companies, as well as bringing the practice giant leaps closer to a revolution in dermatology and a big splash within the health care sector,” said Founder and Chief Medical Director Anais Aurora Badia, M.D., D.O.

Florida Trend’s 11th annual Best Companies list is featured in the August issue of the magazine and on FloridaTrend.com.
