The 2019 Real Estate Symposium has expanded and will take place from 8 a.m. to 12 noon on Sept. 19 at The Club at Grandezza in Estero.

The theme of this year’s event is “Riding the Wave: A look at coastal development in Southwest Florida.” The program will include presentations by Chris Kennedy, Suffolk; Chester Young, Hans Wilson & Associates; Elizabeth A. Fountain, J.R. Evans ; and Dr. Michael Sevarese, Coastal Watershed Institute at Florida Gulf Coast University.

A panel discussion will bring perspective on coastal development and will be moderated by Sean Ellis. Panelists include John Gucciardo, TPI Hospitality/Margaritaville; Anthony Solomon, The Ronto Group; and Shawn McNulty, Lee County Dept. Community Development.

The annual event is presented by the Real Estate Investment Society (REIS) in partnership with the Lutgert College of Business at FGCU, the Florida Planning & Zoning Association (FPZA), and the American Planning Association (APA) Florida.
